Our hours and fees

Kidzone is a co-operative centre. Because each family shares in governance and overall management, we are able to provide high quality childcare for a reasonable cost. Co-operative responsibilities are allocated on the basis of interest and expertise and change from time to time. The most important thing about the co-operative is the need for involvement. Involvement can be through participating in the governance group, helping out at events, volunteering skills to specific projects.

Our hours

Kidzone opens at 7.45 am and closes at 5.40 pm, Monday to Friday.

Children may attend for a maximum of 9 hours per day.

Kidzone is closed on weekends and statutory holidays, and closes for a two week period between Christmas and New Year, reopening in the first week of January.

Our fees

Fees are payable fortnightly in advance by direct credit, 52 weeks per year i.e. even when children are absent due to illness, holiday, during statutory holidays, “Teacher Only” days (two per year) or over the Christmas shutdown. Fees include morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.
